Asiago & Sun Dried Tomato Bread
This delightful combination not only tantalizes the taste buds but also fills the air with an irresistible aroma that promises a culinary adventure. Asiago and sun-dried tomato bread is a testament to the artistry of baking and the joy of savoring each bite.
Ingredients
1 cup cold buttermilk
2 large eggs
5 Tbsp butter cubed
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp granulated sugar
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup fresh basil
1 1/2 cup asiago cheese
1/3 cup oil packed sun dried tomatoes chopped
parchment paper
non stick cooking spray
Instructions
1. Preheat the Rocktablet as directed
2. Spray inner pot with non stick cooking spray and line with parchment paper
3. In Blender or nutribullet, pulse all dry ingredients together with cubed butter until butter is combined in small beads,
4. In a separate bowl combine tomato ,cheese, egg, buttermilk and add dry mixture and hand stir with spoon until fully combined, should be sticky.
5. Drop mixture into prepared inner pot and cover with parchment paper below inner lid and close.
6. insert tablet , then prepared inner pot with lid and close and cook for 1 hr.
7. Turn loaf upside down and cook for 1.5 hour more until done.
serves 4-6 Enjoy !
Heating the RockTablet on stovetop:
Place RockTablet on the largest burner. Place inner pot on top of the RockTablet.
Turn the heat on high. Heat the RockTablet for 30 minutes with inner pot sitting on the stone. After 30 minutes, turn off heat, remove inner pot from stone.
Place HOT RockTablet in the bottom of the RockPot. Put the inner cooking pot (full of hot food) in the RockPot on the hot stone. Close the RockPot and latch the lid.
Heating the RockTablet by fire:
Heat the RockTablet for 30 minutes in the fire.
While stone is heating, combine all ingredients in the inner cooking pot and stir.
Place HOT stone in the bottom of the RockPot.
Put inner cooking pot (full of food) in the RockPot on the RockTablet.
Put the lid on the inner pot.
Close the RockPot and latch the lid.
Let it cook for 8 hours, once the ribs are cooked you can remove the RockTablet from the Rockpot and place food back in the Rockpot to keep warm for up to 8 hours.
